This is one of my favorite pictures. Susan came and helped me after Susanna was born, it was a very special time for me. Even while not feeling well after having gone through chemotherapy, she was there. She cleaned, folded laundry, and watched the boys while Chris was at the hospital. She came to visit at the hospital and brought mint chocolate and lotion, and then rubbed my feet. She was such a sweet, giving person and I miss her greatly. Right after Susanna was born, we called Susan and told her what the baby's name was going to be: Susanna Pauline. She cried, she was so touched. We are sure glad that she had the chance to get to know little Susanna. She is sweet, and spunky just like her grandma.

Beautiful story! Madeline's middle name is for her grandma too. Roland's mom called me and I told her to pick Madeline or Chelsea. She said she didn't like the Clinton's...so she chose Madeline. I then told her that her name would be Madeline Pauline. She was in tears she was so happy! I'm glad we chose that name now. Pauline died from a heart attack later on. Maddy is the only grandchild with her name.
That picture makes my heart hurt. Thank goodness we know what we know or life would be too hard. I'm so glad you guys chose to name her Susanna. It's perfect. I'm sure her grandma, and great grandma Pauline for that matter, will have great influence on her life through the veil.
She was a gorgeous woman and I miss her tonz! I had known Susan since I was little and have known Chris, Amy and the rest of the family for ever and its soo awesome that you named your daughter after her grandma!
Oh my.. all these emotions come flooding in when I saw that picture!! I miss her so much!! What a cute little girl you have!!!
