We had a great New Years' week, spending time with all of our families. We stayed in Farr West with Lestie and Tim from Monday until Friday morning. We played games, (Killer Bunnies is our new fav. thanks Jake and Becca!) ate lots of fattening food, and rang in the New Year half awake. While playing Rock Band, all but one or two of our combined 11 kids woke up and joined the party. It was fun, but very sleep deprived. We went to Provo on Friday, and Jarom and family took us to Chuckie Cheese for lunch and some adult conversation amidst the noise and weird smells. It was great to see everyone though! Then we headed to Amy and Eric's house to see all of Chris' siblings. A gracious Julie entertained us for a lovely dinner for Cliff's birthday. We played Apples to Apples and then had to leave because it was snowing hard. We got stuck in their driveway trying to get out! Gotta love rear wheel drive. Doesn't matter much here in Vegas though. After staying up late playing games once again, we headed home on Saturday. Not without visiting our favorite fast food joint that is not available here first...Arctic Circle. We miss the fry sauce! Yum.
After about 30 loads of laundry and a whole day of cleaning house, things are somewhat back to normal. School for the kids is back in session, and I start again on the 20th.
