Am I the only one still in awe about the things that you can accomplish online? I have these moments where I stop and am just mind boggled thinking about it. Then I turn to my kids and bore them to death by saying: "Back in my day..." Just kidding, sort of. Technology is just amazing. When we bought the boys IPOD's for Christmas, I kept telling them that they had no idea how cool these things are. All we had were these huge tape players called "Walkmans" that could only hold one cd worth of songs at at time, and here they have these music players so tiny that you can actually lose them in your pocket!
Anyway, back to the internet. I could spend all day on it, and sometimes do. :blush: I can check my bank account, pay my bills, go to school, find out about any recipe that I am craving, catch up with old friends and family, learn about any subject known to man...etc. etc. Amazing.
So, a few weeks ago I got the itch to learn how to crochet. I have done it a tiny bit, but never really understood the concept. SO I turned to UTUBE, an amazing site where you can watch videos of just about anything known to man. I learned how to crochet, and look what I made! Isn't she cute?

I'm so amazed with the internet too! I gave my hubby a father's day card-with the kid's signatures, that said the days are now over, that kids need to run to their dad's-now that we have youtube! :) Just a joke-but still pretty true sometimes. If I have a question about my computer-I ask my kids!
Cool!. I need to stop playing tetris and actually do something that actually benefits me.... I did make the kids those fleece blankets this week. I gave my self a blister cutting all of those tabs. Well Can't wait to see ya. We had to put off closing on our house because of that whole address thing. Well see ya.
