Pronounced U-ray, even though I couldn't ever remember that. What a beautiful place! The nickname is "Switzerland of the Rockies" and even though I have never been to Switzerland, I believe it. We walked around the cute little touristy town and wanted to go have a mine tour but when we found out it was 19$ per adult and 9$ per kid we opted out of that one this time. Maybe when we win the lotto. We wanted to go all the way to Telluride, as Chris says it is even more amazing but it was a bit too far for the afternoon drive.
It was so fun, even though the kids complained about the car ride. It is crazy to be able to go places without worrying about bottles and baby stuff. The twins still ride in their stroller sometimes, but prefer walking these days. I realized how much easier it is lately. It has been about 10 years since I could go somewhere without worrying about a baby! I can't believe how big and able the twins are getting to be. They are still big messers at times, but they understand and can communicate so much. It is fun to see them grow and develop at this stage, especially when they do everything in 2's.
