Benson's latest...
On Friday Chris and I were sitting in the living room just chatting with some of the kids. We kept hearing someone in the kitchen, but it was so quiet we didn't think much of it. BIG MISTAKE. Benson has learned how to unlock the handy fridge lock I bought from IKEA that has saved me many messes up to now. Chris walked into the playroom and said "Holy crap." My heart sank, I didn't even want to look, but I did. Benson had oh-so-quietly gotten 2 gallons of milk, 2 bottles of worchestershire sauce, a bottle of hot sauce and a dozen eggs out of the fridge and oh-so-quietly made soup on my playroom carpet. It stunk big time. Even after shampooing it, it stinks. I am going to have to do it again today. I suppose the only saving grace is that with all of the milk down first, the sauces didn't stain anything...
It is a good thing he is so cute, or he probably wouldn't live to see his 3rd birthday. He sure makes me tired though.

Oh no. That is awful. I can't even laugh at this one. I'm so so so sorry. How in the heck did he get the fridge open??? That's hard for an adult???? It really is a good thing kids are cute.
i'm so sorry--i pray you will get a nap today. good thing he's a cutie.
Oh my goodness...that is terrible!! I am so sorry you had to clean that up!
I'm guessing this son will grow up to be a really smart chemist or maybe even a Houdini-Chef:)
Oh My Gosh I would want to strangle that kid... milk and eggs are the worst to clean up!! You'll probably have to replace the carpet.. My dad and I were rear ended right after we had gotten groceries like 8 years ago but the milk and eggs were in the trunk and we could never get rid of the smell.. After many professional cleaners trying we finally sold the car because we could not handle it!! Oh boy good luck with that!!! It is a sure good thing you them the little rascals!
wow Juliette that is awful!. That is not good. I feel so sorry for your nice carpet. Give Benson a hug.
That is terrible! I feel your pain! Although I haven't had eggs on the carpet before... just the kitchen. Benson is a sneaky one! Usually when my boys are being quiet I know that it means trouble!
