We braved the cold and dressed everyone as warmly as possible for the Grand Junction Christmas light parade last Saturday night. It was a new experience for our family, and we were glad we made the effort! The kids were all freezing by the end, especially poor Benson who didn't quite make it to the potty and wet his pants last minute. We went home and made some more hot chocolate and grilled cheese for dinner before bed. It was a fun night (in spite of the chain smoker behind us) filled with candy, and lots of Christmas lights!
Other news...we have a new bishopric in our ward, as our former bishop was called to be our new stake president! Guess who is the 1st counsellor? You get 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count. I think I cried most of sacrament meeting, and Sunday school where they were all set apart. It was an amazing meeting, and we feel so lucky to be part of such a great ward. I am not sure if I cried more because 1. It was a great meeting or 2. because I am 6 months pregnant with twins or 3. because I have to sit on the bench and control my 6 yahoos (soon to be 8) by myself for the next who knows how long. Wish me luck!

Oh Juliette! That's so awesome! Now you will get to know what my life has been like for the past year! You're in for so many blessings and then there will be the days where you feel like you're having an affair with your husband because you never see him! It's great! Good luck!
I got your messages. Thanks for your support. I love you all and I wish I could have been there. I bet it was a beautiful meeting. Mom was there, I'm sure.
