Announcing...

Spencer Newell and Gabriel Parker Holmes! They arrived at 11:47 and 11:49 pm on Thursday the 25th of February. They weighed in at 6 lbs 7 oz and 19 inches long and 6 lbs 4 oz and 20.5 inches long.

We tried to get the doc to give them separate birthdays, but he was in a hurry to make sure I didn't rupture before the c-section. Everything went very well, I am still in the hospital recovering until tomorrow morning. The boys have spent their first few days in the NICU mostly just being watched since they are 35 weekers. They have done very well though, and hopefully get to come home with me. They are so cute, and big for twins- which I knew by the size of my belly. I measured 51 weeks pregnant the day I went into labor, which my doctor loves to tell all the nurses.

I can't believe I am a mom of EIGHT kids now! Everyone here that takes care of me is in awe. I can't quite believe it myself! I can't wait to get these guys home and introduce them to the other kids. They have been waiting a long time to meet them!
