Long Summer Days

Lots and lots of long summer days lately. I love it! In spite of the weather not being so great- lots and lots of thunderstorms and rain, we have found fun things to do. We have been to the library multiple times, the free summer movies, (I bring in snacks in my bag and everyone is happy!) the free day at the city pool, (mom is not free, nor is the waterslide so I suppose I should say cheapER day at the pool) and some drives to the state parks that are close.

There is quite a lot to do around here, I am impressed with this little town. It is nice we are able to keep busy while Chris is gone, and he has been gone about 2-3 weeks out of every month it seems. We are surviving, and he still likes his job so I guess he is too. Best of all, I haven't had school or outside work so I have been reading books like a maniac. I love having all this "free" time! It is just lovely.
